CYGNSS: Storm Satellite Launched

Led by CLaSP Professor Chris Ruf, the Cyclone Global Navigation Satellite System got off the ground. The $150M, hurricane-tracking NASA mission is one of the largest projects led by the College. Communications and Marketing worked with CLaSP and NASA to spread the word about the launch, which was covered by dozens of news outlets including CBS News and USA Today. The news story resulted in 1,200+ people visiting the Michigan Engineering website, in addition to the news hits on CBS News and USA Today.
